Conversations with Tosin Ashafa

Tosin Ashafa, MD/CEO of Cantagali Ltd hosts BTA Scholarship Fund Recipients to a Luncheon in His office in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The BTA Scholarship fund, which was endowed by Mr. Tosin Ashafa, MD/CEO of Cantagali Ltd and managed by ScholarX, was created to support Secondary and University students facing financial obstacles in the pursuit of academic success.

The scholarship was administered in form of an essay competition, and after a thorough review process, 10 winners emerged and each of them was presented with a N50,000 check.

Mr. Tosin Ashafa, who was very impressed with the calibre of intelligent student recipients shared his excitement, “This scholarship is about ensuring that you all have a platform to achieve your dreams. I want you to believe that your life can be an inspiration to someone out there but you have to put in the work required to make the climb towards success.”

Maxwell Ogunfuyi, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of ScholarX, who led the scholarship recipients to the luncheon also commented, “Our mission at ScholarX is to ensure that African students can access education on any level globally irrespective of their social and economic status. We are very happy with the outcome of this collaboration and we hope that this is only the beginning of bigger and better things to come”
